Alpha Phi values each member's passion for education, knowledge and achievement. Our founders were ten of the first twenty women admitted to Syracuse University in 1872 and they had the courage to persevere to earn a college education despite societal expectations at the time.
In our chapter we value each sister equally regardless of socioeconomic background. For this reason, we take several approaches to make our sorority financially accessible.
Our chapter gives over $1200 in scholarship, meeting 80% of need. Major scholarships, as well as unique study abroad opportunities, are also available through our international organization.
